Robbie Williams' daughter confirmed as Princess Eugenie's bridesmaid

Robbie Williams' daughter confirmed as Princess Eugenie's bridesmaid

Princess Eugenie, 28, who is ninth in line to the throne, became engaged to Mr Brooksbank in January after the couple dated for seven years.

Mr Brooksbank has asked his brother, Thomas Brooksbank, to be his best man, while Eugenie's older sister Princess Beatrice will be her maid of honour.

"She's also been banned from making a speech, as much as Eugenie would have liked her to, out of fear she may say something untoward or make subtle digs at the family", A palace aide told the publication.

The only non-royal bridesmaid will be Theodora Williams - the six-year-old daughter of Robbie Williams and Ayda Field.

Around 500 guests are expected to attend the wedding, including celebrity guests such as Victoria and David Beckham, Elton John, singers Ellie Goulding and James Blunt, as well as royal guests like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Princess Eugenie is getting married on October 12 and the United Kingdom-based group Republic has gathered over 40,000 signatures in support of a petition urging the House of Commons and government stop the use of public funds for the royal event.

The princess is now ninth in line with Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, her father Prince Andrew, and sister Princess Beatrice all coming before her.

The couple, who initially met after being introduced by friends while Eugenie was still at Newcastle University in Verbier, Switzerland, will walk down the aisle at St George's Chapel, the very spot where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in May.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be among the pageboys and bridesmaids at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank. Since then the princess has posted a series of photos including some pretty adorable throwbacks of her and sister Princess Beatrice.

The entire day is set to cost a reputed £2 million and will include a fanfare - specifically written for the day - by State Trumpeters and music from Scottish pipers as the couple travel through Windsor. And if you're wondering if she watches "The Crown", yes, she's seen it.

Ten-year-old Viscount Severn and Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, 14, will also be part of the wedding as special attendants.
