Nicolle Wallace on Kilmeade Criticizing Trump for Mocking Ford

I believed that she was sexually assaulted by someone in her younger years - I just did not believe that it was, in fact, Brett Kavanaugh, for various reasons.

Mimicking Ford, Trump said, "How did you get there?"

"Even for Donald Trump this represents a new low".

A statement provided to the senate by Christine Blasey Ford's ex-boyfriend has raised serious questions about the truthfulness of her sworn testimony, in the latest twist to the ongoing Kavanaugh confirmation saga. I can only speak as one of 21 senators here, but I thank you very much for your testimony, more importantly, for your bravery coming out, and trying to answer our questions as best you could remember. "I can't think of anything more - inappropriate is not descriptive enough".

But an ex-boyfriend of Ford wrote a letter to Senate Judiciary Chair Charles Grassley, saying he once saw Ford explain in detail how to prepare to take a polygraph. "I don't know. I don't know", Trump sneered, deriding Ford's testimony before the Senate, which was widely viewed as compelling and forthright-in stark constrast to Kavanaugh's enraged, evasive, and lie-filled performance.

Mike Lupica said Fox News turning on Trump is a sign that he "screwed up".

Christine Blasey Ford (C) is flanked by her attorneys, Debra Katz (L) and Michael Bromwich, as she testifies before the Senate Judiciary Committee in the Dirksen Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill in Washington on September 27, 2018.

Grassley said he also wants any other information that was shared with a reporter or anyone else at a media organization, including a conversation with a Post reporter on WhatsApp.

"I renew my request for notes from therapy sessions in which Dr. Ford discussed the alleged assault by Judge Kavanaugh", Grassley wrote.

Trump mocked Ford's allegations at his MS rally. "How did you get there? Do the people making this argument really expect a man who until five seconds ago had an unblemished reputation to sit passively while his reputation is viciously and permanently destroyed?" "That's the only thing I remember".

He would not elaborate on whether the vote would be procedural or a vote to confirm Kavanaugh but said he would fight any Democratic attempts to delay it.
