Rapper Mac Miller dead, report says

Malcolm James McCormick, the rapper and producer best known as Mac Miller, has died at 26, Variety reported Friday.

He was found dead in his home in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley around 12 p.m. Friday.

Popular rapper Mac Miller has passed away.

After reportedly being arrested for drinking under influence and a hit and run in May, he confessed to being two times over the legal limit.

Miller dated singer Ariana Grande from 2016 until May of this year.

Miller has had troubles with substance abuse, most recently being arrested for a DUI in May when he wrapped his vehicle around a utility pole.

The couple had dated for almost two years before Grande broke it off in May. "I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be".

Hailing from Pittsburgh, Miller started rapping as a teenager and first gained mainstream popularity with his 2011 song "Donald Trump". The album entered at number one on the Billboard 200.
