Draymond Green responds to Thompson fight reports

During the wild Game 1 of the Finals, Thompson got ejected for elbowing Shaun Livingston. The dirty player is most known for his defensive prowess, intensity-and of course, kicking opponents in the balls. And a punch from Thompson isn't likely to change the way Green operates.

Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson allegedly punched Draymond Green at an ESPY's after party last month, and that's cause for a celebration in "The Land".

Which is why everyone was stunned when Thompson, according to sources, out of nowhere attacked Green.

No argument. No squaring up.

According to Thompson's source, it was more of a face shove than a true punch. A two-piece is described as a move that involves punching someone in the face with a fist first and then hitting them with an elbow all in the same swing. Other reports have described it as a legit punch, maybe even a quick one-two.

The two were quickly separated with James and Kevin Durant among the ones to intervene.

Draymond Green and Tristan Thompson butted heads during the NBA Finals, and at the Warriors' championship parade, Draymond said he told Tristan after the Finals that the two "ain't cut the same". Then as Thompson walked away, he pointed as if to say that they should meet outside.

The party continued with Green and Thompson co-existing without incident.

Late Tuesday, The Athletic's Marcus Thompson II reported what he had heard about a "scuffle" between Green and Thompson at James' ESPYs afterparty.

To honor Thompson, McKenney wants to have a parade at Quicken Loans Arena on October 13. The kerfuffle apparently stemmed from the Tristan Thompson, Draymond Green beef that spilled out of the court.
