Trump disclosure form mentions Cohen payment

Daniels' attorney argues that the contract was invalid because Trump never signed it, and alleges that Cohen falsely accused her of lying.

The $500,000 was deposited into the First Republic Bank account within 75 days of the payment to Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, Avenatti said Tuesday, and may have been used to cover the costs of preventing Daniels from talking about an alleged affair with President Donald Trump in 2006.

Weeks earlier, Mr. Trump had said he was unaware Cohen paid adult film star Stormy Daniels $130,000 shortly before the election. FINCEN's retention policy on its website says incorrect documents and those "deemed highly sensitive" and "requiring strict limitations on access" might be transferred from its master file.

The disclosure also provides the first extended look at the performance of Trump's Washington hotel, which opened in September 2016 and has become a magnet for lobbyists and Republican aides.

Trump's hotel in the U.S. capital, which opened in late 2016, took in $40.4 million during 2017 while the Florida resort had revenues of $25.1 million previous year.

"Cohen sought reimbursement of those expenses and Trump fully reimbursed Cohen in 2017", according to the document.

"No", Trump said. "I don't know". "Mr. Trump fully reimbursed Mr. Cohen", the disclosure report said.

A law enforcement source said in a new report Wednesday that he leaked financial records about President Trump's longtime attorney Michael Cohen because two key goverment reports on Cohen's financial activity were missing.

The Trump Organization referred questions about the disclosure report to the president's lawyer Sheri Dillon of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

Other properties have not fared as well, including Trump National Doral, a golf resort near Miami, which is Trump's biggest cash flow generator.

The figures are before expenses and so give no indication of how much profit the president made off the properties.
