Google Released Super Human Like Voice Assistant - Google Duplex

Google's 2018 I/O keynote is in the books, led by CEO Sundar Pichai, the tech giant rolled out one big announcement after another.

Will we ever see Apple's Siri reach these levels of AI automation like Google Assistant? Hence, Google now lets you choose from six different voices for Google Assistant. Well, Google is unveiling technology that can save you the hassle. It'll engage with you, but it's hardly the most natural conversationalist.

Google aims to make its assistant so useful that people can't live without it — or the search results that drive its advertising business. The first will make it easier to set up a new device.

Day 1 of Google I/O was full of new features and updates that Google plans to roll out or is already rolling out to several of its services. There is a new "Shush" feature. Google hopes to become your one-stop shop for your mobile photos, and by implementing more robust AI features, they will be able to make interacting with your pictures a more seamless experience.

Google announced Routines for Google Assistant past year that allowed users to perform multiple actions with just a single command. That's cool. Isn't it?

The Google Assistant on phone gets a new look. Prueter said Google is working on a speaker-only mode for the Link Bar, letting it function as a Google Home-type smart speaker. Android P won't be released until later this year, and even then, phone manufacturers and carriers frequently limit Android updates to their newest phones.

Google's word of 2018 is AI apparently.

At the firm's annual I/O developer conference, Google's latest innovations included revamps for its Android operating system, as well as Gmail and virtual helper Google Assistant. With Assistant, users will be able to send text messages or play music by giving voice commands. Maps will also allow users to quickly create lists of suggested destinations, share them with friends, and vote on where to go. CEO Sundar Pichai showed the Google Assistant making a phone call to a restaurant and placing a reservation, and what's incredible is how human Google Assistant sounds, even inserting "umms" and "uhhs".

Google Assistant: Oooh, I gotcha. Google will start testing this feature this summer.

While Google Pixel users will receive the features first, the rest of us will get them later this fall.

Elsewhere, the firm has committed to using third party companies to help develop further connected services to install into its models. Which one would you say is your favorite?
