Florida Mother, 2 Children die after vehicle hits alligator in SC

A mother and her two young children have died after their vehicle hit an alligator on Interstate 95 in SC, authorities said.

"When I landed in Atlanta, I couldn't get a hold of her", Stanley said.

The family was from Callahan, Florida.

Amber Stanley was driving when her auto hit on an alligator, inducing the vehicle to go off the trail. Amber Stanley and her kids were killed Monday when their vehicle hit an alligator.

Ms Stanley's devastated husband and the family's sole survivor Josh Stanley fought back tears as he mourned the death of his high school sweetheart. The trio had determined to go for a weekend journey on the time of their loss of life.

"It's been hard. I mean, I know it happened. I'm still kind of processing though", the husband said. "I'll be walking around and I'll just see somebody out of the corner of my eye and I'll be like it's him but I know it's not, it's just the first thing my brain goes to".

According to Action News Jax in Jacksonville, FL, Josh Stanley, now the sole survivor of his family, said he was working out of town as his wife and two children traveled through SC. Josh Stanley stated his spouse cherished visiting the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens and he'd like to rearrange a memorial there for his spouse and youngsters.
